The price/rates for surface transportation and tube are unified. Tickets may be purchased at the newsstand,
bars, tobaccos shops and automatic distributor machines. It’s not possible to buy tickets on board.
Transport runs from 6.00 AM to 12:00 PM Midnight, but there is a night bus service replacing Red Line is
available tduring the night (ticket price 1€). Tourist tickets valid for 24h at the price of 2.50€ are also
available.
Taxi
Milanese taxis are coloured in white. They generally park in special areas with telephone (taxi’s numbers
are reachable / available on the yellow pages under entry “taxi”).
When boarding on a taxi start, a fixed price will apply. This rate varies during weekdays (from 6 to 21) €
3.00, during holidays (from 6 to 21) € 5.10 and during the night (from 21 to 6) € 6.10.
Luggage is also subject to an extra charge.
Bus
International and national buses leave and arrive in Piazza Castello in front of the Castello Sforzesco. To buy
tickets and to have some information about, please contact (call or go) the information office for motorway
bus line (tel. 02.801.161) located in Piazza Castello or call Zani Viaggi Travel Agency (tel. 02.867131) on the
corner betwen Piazza Castello Square and Faro Buonaparte.

Car : depart from Duca d’Aosta Square, go straight on Vittor Pisani Street, arrive in Repubblica
Square and turn on the left on Bastioni di Porta Venezia and take Viale Majno until 5 Giornate
Square, turn on the right on Corso di Porta Vittoria, arrive in Largo Augusto take Larga Street until
Corso di Porta Romana (under Torre Velasca); on the traffic light turn on the right in Porta Romana
and arrive in Piazza Missori.

on for Bastioni di Porta Venezia and take Viale Majno until Piazza 5 Giornate, turn on the right on
Corso di Porta Vittoria, arrive in Largo Augusto take Via Larga up to Corso di Porta Romana (under
Torre Velasca); on the traffic light turn on the right in Porta Romana and arrive in Piazza Missori.

and Corso di Porta Vittoria and arrive in largo Augusto, take Via Larga until Corso di Porta Romana
