“Giuseppe Verdi” Symphonic Orchestra & Symphonic Chorus Foundation, Milan

Established by Vladimir Delman in 1993, today La Verdi is a leading symphonic orchestra & chorus in Italy. The season's program includes 34 different symphonic concerts performed on Thursday, Friday evening and Sunday afternoon at Milan’s Auditorium. La Verdi exhibits from September to May. The educational project “Crescendo in Musica” (intended for young people to discover the magic of music) offers concerts on Saturday afternoon. The Twentieth-century Music series includes: prospects for a century of symphonic music with meetings on Sunday morning - featuring: an aesthetic & historical introduction, analysis of pieces live, performance.

“La Verdi per tutti! (La Verdi For Everybody!) is a non-professional orchestra created in 2005. It is made up of non-professional musicians who love playing music together. Instead, the educational projects “Junior Symphonic Orchestra” and “Treble Chorus” are intended for 6-to-18 yr old people.

La Verdi is committed to improve wellbeing through its social projects “Music in ward” and “Music in prison”, thus playing a meaningful role in the Lombard territory as it brings music to people who are suffering a great deal.
